Leasing

CVL offer a number of leasing packages, primarily for customers who have the facility (ie own workshops) to maintain their commercial vehicle fleet

With its extensive knowledge of residual values on commercial vehicles the main type of leasing offered via CVL is Operating Lease. An operating lease allows our clients to “rent” the vehicle for a fixed term. No exposure on the resale of the asset is realised by our customers, they simply return the vehicle to us at the end of the agreed term.

The main financial implication of operating lease it its “off balance sheet” nature. The rentals are treated as an operating expense  rather than a capital expense.
